Event Details:

On Friday, March 22, the City of Stratford will celebrate World Water Day with public tours and open houses at some of its key water facilities.
 
Please join us to learn more about where our drinking water comes from, how it gets to you, and how wastewater is treated.
 
The following facilities will be open to the public Friday, and staff will be available at each location to answer questions or to offer tours:
 
* Romeo Street Pumping Station (water supply)
39 Romeo Street South – Tours at noon, 1 p.m., 2 p.m., 3 p.m.
 
* Water Pollution Control Plant (wastewater treatment)
701 West Gore Street – Tours at noon, 1 p.m., 2 p.m., 3 p.m.
 
* Vivian Street Pumping Station (wastewater collection)
362 Romeo Street North – Drop-in open house from noon – 3 p.m.
 
* Forman Water Tower (water distribution)
430 Forman Avenue – Drop-in open house from noon – 3 p.m.
